Home to the world-famous Saatchi Gallery, Tashen and it’s hidden gallery, BADA’s annual Antiques and Fine Art Fair and our popular Saturday farmers market, Duke of York Square is positively brimming with culture.
The Saatchi Gallery aims to provide an innovative forum for contemporary art, presenting work by largely unseen young artists or by international artists whose work has been rarely or never exhibited in the UK.
The Saatchi Gallery shop offers a wide variety of art orientated books, catalogues of Saatchi Gallery exhibitions and eclectic range of innovative lifestyle products by largely undiscovered artists and designers.
Highly appropriately placed within stone’s throw of Saatchi gallery gates, near Sloane Square, obviously designed yet again by Mr. Starck himself, TASCHEN London bookstore and gallery is bibliophile heaven dedicated to perusal of eclectic art books.
With its cool and collected space, muted tones and superb lighting, there is no better place to discover TASCHEN collectible books covering art, design, architecture, pop culture, travel and sex. Largely recognized as falling within coffee table book genre, you may find some more original formats and subject topics.
The BADA Antiques & Fine Art Fair is the UK’s premier, national art and antiques Fair. Conveniently situated at the Duke of York Square, by Sloane Square in Chelsea, the BADA Fair takes place in one of London’s most exclusive commercial and residential areas and provides a unique forum in which to buy art and antiques. Visitors enjoy the enormous variety of exhibits for sale including fine English furniture, clocks, wonderful paintings and textiles, glass, ceramics and jewellery.
Every week the Square hosts a Saturday farmers market. Many small speciality food producers, selling a broad range of products from all over Britain and around the world, set up stalls to offer quality speciality products
