We’re so excited about Chelsea in Bloom, the stunning floral festival of the year to return. Duke of York Square, the King’s Road, Sloane Street, Pavilion Road and Sloane Square are set to be transformed as retailers, restaurants and hotels compete in this year’s competition, with incredible displays made entirely of fresh flowers. And this year’s Floral Safari theme is sure to inspire a roaring range of installations! Plus don’t miss the latest additions to the team, two majestic floral lions enjoying their new habitat right here at the Square.
Now in its incredible 12th year, Chelsea in Bloom takes place from 22-27 May and is the complementary alternative to the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Enjoy a voyage of discovery as the whole area is transformed for the Floral Safari theme. Make sure you check out the ‘Big Five’ popping up throughout the area – as well as the Square’s gorgeous lions, there are also elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, zebra and hippos to discover across Chelsea’s new safari lands.
Duke of York Square will be enjoying the jungle fever as a host of stores compete for the best floral displays including Dubarry, High Mood Food, Rigby & Peller, TM Lewin and Trilogy, as well as last year’s winner, Monica Vinader. For a delicious dinner or afternoon tea, make sure you visit Manicomio and Gallery Mess, who will be creating gourmet eats all with that delectable Chelsea in Bloom twist.
Start your jungle expedition at Sloane Square, where safari hostesses will meet you at the camp’s Information Point, hand you a map and fill you in on what’s on throughout Chelsea in Bloom week. Whether you want to complete your expedition on foot or with a complimentary rickshaw ride, there’s an array of exclusive products, in-store offers and more to discover on your travels.
