Festive Feasting

December is certainly a month of indulgence; spoiling your loved ones with gifts and indulging in rich and delicious foods and (too much!) fizz. Duke of York Square has plenty of offerings to help with those; an abundance of stores with perfect gift suggestions and a range of restaurants to gather with your friends and celebrate the festive season.

Polpo have a delicious Christmas menu, ideal for sharing as you catch up with your friends and family. If you’re after something a little more special, they can pull together a bespoke menu and even provide additional entertainment or a DJ from their little black book. From £33-£39pp, the sharing menus include firm favourites such as baked seabass fillet with braised leeks, winter artichoke crochettes with tiramisu or a hot chocolate and cornetti pudding to finish off (if you can manage!).

For a Lebanese twist on your Christmas celebrations, Comptoir Libanais’ Christmas menu (£24.95pp) is a wonderful alternative. Feast on mezze, delicious main courses including salmon shakshuka or harissa and honey baby chicken, as well as a dark chocolate and red rose berries cake for those with a sweet tooth.

Looking for a gift for the foodie in your life or something to take home for your own festive indulgence, Partridges have a selection of Christmas hampers to bring a burst of joy home with you. Try their ‘Festive Delight’ (£150) which comes with the most special of seasonal essentials including Christmas crackers, Christmas pudding, peppermint candy canes, whisky star topped mince pies and much more to keep your tummy’s happy this December.
