Visit Saatchi’s latest SALON exhibition which is on display from 23 June until 8 July; ‘Dancing with Colour’, an exhibition of paintings by the British artist, Berenice Sydney. You will also have the opportunity to purchase any that catch your eye!
This is the first presentation of her works at a major public art gallery in over 30 years and is comprised of a selection of oil paintings and works on paper that reflect her signature lyrical and highly animated graphic style. The images are inscribed with her passion for music and dance and there is a strong sense of liberation and freedom of expressed which prevailed during the time she worked, the 60s. Although she tragically died shortly after her 39th birthday, her work has been widely shown in Britain and abroad and this display in particular shouldn’t be missed.
All proceeds of this fantastic exhibition will go to Royal Academy Schools, to create an award to a student studying there.
