At Duke of York Square supporting local charities is a cause close to our heart, which is why we’re really excited to welcome back Glass Door for its fourth annual Sleep Out here at the Square on Friday 7 October.
The charity works to support homeless people and is now taking sign-ups for the Sleep Out on their website here. Why not get a group of friends together to brave the cold and raise money for a great cause? The event gives supporters the chance to experience for one night what it’s like to sleep rough on the streets.
If the success of last year’s event is anything to go by, we can expect hundreds of people to brave the wet weather and help raise money. We managed to raise over £160,000 last year – fingers crossed we can do the same this October!
