BBQ Summer Evenings

This June sees the launch of the delightful Poco Cafe Terrace, next door to its sister restaurant Manicomio, overlooking Duke of York Square in the heart of Chelsea.

Celebrating the start of the summer season, the Poco Cafe have collaborated with Tanqueray Gin to create a list of delectable, gin-based cocktails to be enjoyed on the Poco Café terrace throughout June and July.

The Poco Café Tanqueray summer cocktail list features five drinks with a distinct Italian feel, including Tanqueray Negroni, A classic marriage of Tanqueray, bittersweet Campari and Martini Rosso, served short over ice with an orange slice.

Tom Salt, head chef at Poco’s sister restaurant Manicomio, has also been hard at work putting together a fanastic list of BBQ dishes, perfect for an evening of alfresco dining. The Poco Café BBQ menu is short and sweet with a selection of daily changing antipasti to start. BBQ dishes follow along nicely featuring the likes of Swordfish with rocket and daterino tomatoes, Cornish black bream with panzanella, Don Manicomio burger with apple and gorgonzola, Banham free-range chicken spiedino and Wye Valley asparagus, parmesan and lemon.

What better way to welcome in the start of British summertime than with this delectable list of refreshing Tanqueray cocktails and Tom Salt’s range of simple yet morish grills taken in the warm summer sunshine on the lovely Poco Café terrace.

The Poco Café summer BBQ terrace menu and Tanqueray cocktails are served from Tuesday to Friday only, from 5.30-8pm. For further details call 020 7730 3366.
